America-Final
For the base image I used a memorial at the National Cemetery at Fort Indiantown Gap. I added in a crochet pattern to the wall and a clover pattern to the grass. The objects I added in were the American flag and the plaque on the walkway. The colors added were green to the crochet pattern, and red and blue to the flag on the monument.
This image represents America to me because it shows one of the things that's important to the country, a monument to commemorate the history of our country. I added in the flag and plaque to help bring more American ideas into the image.
The base image for this composite is my boyfriend working on his old car. The textures I added in were the tire pattern on the wall and the tarp pattern to the floor. Objects added in were the cat and the beer bottle. I added a deeper blue over the tarp pattern and a white on the wheel.
This image is to represent something that was very important in our country at a point in time, the American auto industry. I prefer the aesthetic of this image over the other, which I prefer the meaning of the other over this one.

Mood Board-Carefree (Final)
Mood board Part I: Research
For the final project my word I chose was carefree. I see
carefree as being like a happy-go-lucky, uplifted mood. It reminds me a lot of
the beach and childhood (kids can go and go and not have a care in the world.)
I also imagine like daydreaming.
Mood board Part II: Visuals

Mood board Part III: Colors
Mood board Part IV: Execution
1. Places: I plan to take a day trip to the beach to get
pictures of the ocean and the road trip itself down there.
2. Textures: I plan on taking textures I
come across when on this “carefree” trip.
3. Objects/people: I plan to take pictures of my sister playing
and objects I come across when on this trip.
Mood board Part V: Bringing it together
As previously mentioned, I plan on making a day trip out of this
project and taking pictures of the beach and incorporating in pictures of this “carefree”
trip. I also got inspiration from the song “Float On” by Modest Mouse to make
one of the images be my sister “floating off” holding a ton of balloons.
